HTML vs Dreamweaver

With my experience with HTML and Dreamweaver, I kind of prefer Dreamweaver as it is easy to use whereas HTML needs more skill.

I have chosen the Thailand Earthquake. People have used the internet to tell people about this disaster. People have used websites and YouTube as forms of communication. People made videos about it too.

Why is communication so important during an emergency?

Communication is so important during an emergency because if you don't get help quickly, the person or thing that you need to help may be in a very dangerous and tight situation, therefore, if you do not get help quickly, he/she/it might die if he/she/it is in an earthquake like the Thailand Earthquake that happened recently. If you don't get help during and emergency quickly, something bad might happen.

In synchronous forms, the information that would be conveyed is if you do a video. In asynchronous forms, only the words will be conveyed.

Asynchronous means that the main server is not synchronized with the other people; basically, the opposite of synchronous. Stuff like E-Mail are asynchronous.

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp Messenger are all communication forms which are synchronous. Even games like Clash of Clans are synchronous! That means that data gets uploaded onto the main server and other people connected into your chat room/chat group/game server will download that data and he/she can see what you have done. Not all data gets uploaded because if everything did get uploaded, then other people would be able to chat with groups that you are in but they aren't.

My Reflection on my Tech Fair Project

My Reflection on my Tech Fair Project

My tech fair project was a little bit different in my mind when I saw the finished project because some of the buttons that I thought was going to be in the program was not there. That was because I either did not know how to put it there or because it seemed useless when I was about to put it on the program.

In the making of my tech fair project, there were some ups and downs. For example, I could not make a send button and I could not make a clear chat button. What I could do was, change the color of the background, change the name of the robot and tell it what to answer if you ask something.

If I could do the tech fair project all over again, I would have improved the production speed by choosing someone better with scripting and maybe a little more organized than the partner that I currently have now because then both people could actually communicate easier and both me and my partner would be able to help each other and maybe make the script better by taking turns to refine and improve the script after it is done. By changing my partner, I am also making the whole tech fair project easier because then we would finish our presentation and the application/program faster and get to improve it even more. We would also be able relax and get everything even more proper by rehearsing what to say when someone comes.
